Pitch Your Way - The Event

Our vision at Scriptlight is to bring together scriptwriters, producers and directors in order to create collaborations
which will bring your project on to the screen.

For that purpose, we hold pitch and networking events and create the opportunity for people to meet and get to know new people in the industry, create collaborations and of course the opportunity to go on stage and present a 'Winning Pitch' in front of a panel of producers and people from the industry.

Pitch Your Way #3 - 2017

As in previous years 8 successful authors who underwent a significant process, from the idea phase up to writing an entire quality draft in 84 days went on stage and presented a winning pitch!

During the personal training sessions, you will undergo professional training and receive the tools and confidence to present a 'Winning Pitch', one that will leave no one indifferent, neither to you nor to your project. A good pitch will open doors for you and in addition will enable you to examine who you should work and create collaborations with.

So how to do it? It's very simple, we schedule 2 to 4 sessions in which you will learn, practice and come out with a 'Winning Pitch'.

What you will learned in the workshop:
How to write a clear and precise statement of intent, one that will convince that you will know how to write the script.
Log line - your story in one sentence
The script elements required in order to write a professional synopsis (5 -10 pages) as the structure of the story and the events that must appear in the synopsis.
A summarized character description
How to formulate your CV
A 150 word summary for submit to labs and present as advertising material.

And most importantly, during the workshop you will learn how to precise your story so it will maturate for writing your next feature!
